KATHMANDU, Nov. 3 -- Nepal welcomed a total of 128,443 foreign tourists in October, according to the latest data released by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).

October, one of the peak tourist months, recorded a robust arrival number, continuing the positive momentum seen in recent months.

Of the total arrivals, 29,060 visitors came from South Asia, 23,127 from other Asian countries, 40,500 from Europe, 6,814 from Oceania, 16,407 from the United States, 3,548 from the Middle East, 443 from Africa, and 8,444 from other countries.

The NTB further reported that Nepal received 943,716 tourists between January and October this year.

In October alone, India was the largest source market with 17,298 tourists, followed by the United States with 1...
