Nepal, June 28 -- The lawmakers belonging to the opposition parties Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) staged a protest in the House of Representatives (HoR) at the very beginning of today's meeting.
As soon as Speaker Devraj Ghimire announced the commencement of the session, RSP lawmakers stood up from their seats to register their protest.

In response, Speaker Ghimire allowed RSP lawmaker Ganesh Parajuli and RPP lawmaker Roshan Karki to express their views. Parajuli demanded an investigation into the visit visa scandal, a call echoed by Karki.
