TANAHU, Nov. 18 -- One person was killed and five others sustained injuries in a microbus accident in Tanahu Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Sunita Gurung, 28, from Pokhara Metropolitan City. The incident took place when a microbus (Ga 1 Kha 2942) en route to Manahunkot from Pokhara skidded off the road at Manahunkot of Byas Municipality.
She breathed her last while undergoing treatment at Damauli-based Ratnahari hospital, according to Resham Ranabhat, chief of the District Traffic Police Office, Tanahun. Five passengers were injured in the accident.
