Number of Nepali nationals dying of COVID-19 in foreign countries rises to 293
KATHMANDU, Nov. 15 -- The number of Nepali nationals dying of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has risen to 293, the Non-resident Nepali Association (NRNA) said on Sunday.
According to NRNA, eight Nepalis living in Maharashtra and Chennai of India died of COVID-19 in the past one week.
As of Saturday evening, 45,439 Nepali nationals living in 44 countries across the world have been infected with coronavirus. "Of the infected Nepali nationals, around 41439 have been recovered," read a press statement issued by the NRNA, the umbrella organization of the Nepali nationals living in various countries.
