At 12, April 17 -- Nirmal Purja, also known as Nims Dai, has set a new record in climbing the world's highest peak above 8000 meters. On the day of Nepali New Year, he made a record by ascending the 8,000-meter-high peak 44 times.

Nims Dai has repeatedly ascended all 14 peaks higher than 8,000 meters.
