KATHMANDU, Sept. 28 -- Nirmal Niwas has issued a Vijaya Dashami greeting message on behalf of former king Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah, emphasizing national unity, reform, and the role of the younger generation.

"The national festival of Dashain has arrived with the onset of autumn. On this occasion of worshipping Goddess Navadurga and exchanging good wishes, we extend happiness, peace, and prosperity to all Nepalis at home and abroad," the message read.
