Nepal, Sept. 22 -- Newly appointed Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development, Dr Madan Pariyar, has pledged to resolve the shortage of fertilizer.

Speaking to journalists after taking the oath of office at the President's Office, Sheetal Niwas, Dr Pariyar said that agricultural production cannot be increased without fertilizer. He stated that he would identify the obstacles in fertilizer imports and work to address the problem.
