Nepal, March 11 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Tuesday lost 32.21 points to close at 2,719.20 points.
The secondary market opened with 2,751.42 points and reached the day's high at 2,761.86 points in around one hour of trading. The index then plummeted and slid to as low as 2,713.62 points in the last five minutes. The market recovered around six points in the remaining period before it closed for the day.
The development bank index gained 111.57 points. Of the 12 losing groups, manufacturing and processing shedded the largest of 186.46 points. Life insurance and non-life insurance also lost three-digit values of 182.44 and 127.60 points respectively.
