Nepal, March 27 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Thursday gained 41.43 points to close at 2,663.30 points.
After suffering a bearish trend for a number of days, it was the second day in the row that the country's secondary market inclined by notable points. On Wednesday too, the NEPSE had risen by 39 points.
On Thursday, the secondary market that opened at 2,621.86 points, initially plunged to the day's low at 2,623.52 points in the first 21 minutes. The index then inclined up successively, making the share market surge up by an overall 1.58 percent in the intraday trading.
All the 13 trading groups were registered as gainers. Trading index escalated by 247.16 by points, followed by life insurance, microfinance and non-life insurance...
