Nepal, Sept. 2 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Tuesday plummeted 19.89 points to close at 2,741.97 points.
The secondary market gained around 27 points in the pre-opening session and opened for the main hour trading at 2,788.16 points. The market then went to a successive decline throughout the trading hours.

All the 13 groups were the losers in the intraday trading. Non-life insurance shed the highest of 87.91 points.
The sensitive index which measures the performance of 'A' class companies decreased 2.69 points. The daily turnover declined to Rs 4.43 billion from Rs 5.10 billion on Monday.
