Nepal, March 16 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Sunday witnessed a landslide fall of 21.63 points to close at 2,714.85 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,736.48 points and went to a straight fall from the beginning of the four-hour trading session of the day. The index reached the day's low at 2,693.75 points when the trading time was left for one hour and 20 minutes. The market recovered around 21 points in the remaining period before it closed for the day.
Only the trading group added 202.01 points. Among the 12 losers, the life insurance index plunged by the largest of 146.87 points, followed by development banks who lost 131.92 points.
