KATHMANDU, March 25 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Monday declined by 17.01 points to close at 2,031.55 points.

The market opened at 2,048.56 points and fell straight to 2,031.26 points in the first half an hour. The index went to the day's low at 2,028.25 points in the midway of the trading hours. The market remained almost stable in the remaining period.

The sensitive index that measures the performance of 'A' class companies decreased 4.64 points. The daily turnover declined to Rs 2.48 billion from Rs 4.31 billion on Thursday.
