Nepal, April 2 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Wednesday rose by 23.86 points to close at 2,700.04 points.

The secondary market opened at 2,676.17 points, initially plunged to the day's low at 2,670.58 points in the first 14 minutes. The index however went to an upward graph and reached the day's high at 2,712.13 points in the next two and a half hours. The market shed around 12 points in the remaining period before it closed for the day.

Two groups, including manufacturing and processing, and non-life insurance, were the only two losers, who lost 106.62 points and 33.06 points respectively. Out of 11 gaining groups, trading rose by a whopping 420.89 points.
