Nepal, April 10 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Thursday declined marginally by 5.57 points to close at 2,670.70 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,676.28 points and hit the day's high at 2,687.56 points in the first 13 minutes of trading. The market however fell to as low as 2,670.47 points in the next one hour, reaching the day's low at 2,670.25 points with barely 40 minutes of trading time.
Microfinance, among four gaining groups, increased 18.34 points. It was followed by hydropower, development banks and mutual funds. Of the nine losers, the manufacturing and processing index declined by the largest of 62.33 points.
