KATHMANDU, Feb. 17 -- Nepali student Prakriti Lamsal, who was studying at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University in Odisha, India, is suspected to have committed suicide due to mental stress.

According to the Indian media, abuser Advik Srivastava was allegedly involved in abetting the suicide. Following Lamsal's death, an audio clip in which a young man is heard abusing and harassing a girl has gone viral on social media.

In the audio, Lamsal is repeatedly heard crying and expressing her pain, but Srivastava seems indifferent to it.
