KATHMANDU, March 7 -- The Nepali Congress (NC) parliamentary party (PP) meeting concluded with a resolution blaming Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal for betraying the coalition.

NC Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak held PM Dahal responsible for the coalition's breakdown.

According to him, in the past NC had formed alliances incorporating various parties for the protection of the constitution and consolidation of the democratic system, and participated in the elections accordingly.

"The Prime Minister betrayed us and deviated from the issues that had been agreed upon, leading the coalition astray. We condemn this as a form of political dishonesty," said Lekhak.
