KATHMANDU, Sept. 12 -- The Nepali Army has slightly reduced the hours of the prohibitory order and curfew in the Kathmandu Valley, covering Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur.

According to a notice issued on Thursday night, the public will be allowed limited movement for essential purposes from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday.

The Army stated that the prohibitory order will remain in effect from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on September 12, while the curfew will continue from 7:00 PM until 6:00 AM the following morning.
