MORANG, March 24 -- The players of the Nepal women's football team, who finished as the runner-up of the fifth Women's SAFF Championship, have been rewarded with Rs 250,000 each in Biratnagar on Saturday.

In the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA)'s General Assembly, the players who finished second after losing to India 3-1 were rewarded with Rs 250,000 each.

The ANFA, Province 1 government and Biratnagar Municipality announced to reward jointly with Rs 250,000 each for their performance in the SAFF Championship. The ANFA's General Assembly appreciated the provincial government and the Biratnagar Municipality for the decision of to reward the players with the cash prize.
