Nepal to procure 6 million doses of Pixar COVID-19 vaccines to be administered to children above 12 years of age
KATHMANDU, July 31 -- The government has initiated a process to procure six million doses of Pixar-BioNTech vaccine to be administered against COVID-19.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), the vaccine will be administered to children above 12.
The government is all set to procure six million doses of Pixar-BioNTech vaccine in the wake of the government's decision to vaccinate all eligible population by mid-March, next year.
So far, Nepal has been administering Covishield, Vero cell and J&J vaccines against COVID-19 to people who are older than 18 years.
As many as 3,779,932 people have received their first shot of COVID-19 vaccines and 1,621,754 people have been fully vaccinated in Nepal as of Friday, according ...
