POKHARA, Dec. 5 -- Nepal national women's cricket team suffered a 10-wicket defeat against Bangladesh in the ongoing 13th South Asian Games (SAG) held at Pokhara Stadium's cricket ground in Pokhara on Wednesday.

Bangladesh completed the chase of 51 runs in 7.4 overs with both the opening batters staying not-out. Ayesha Rahman stayed unbeaten on 26 whereas her opening partner Murshida Khatoon remained unbeaten on 23 runs to complete Bangladesh's first win of the Games.

Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and invited Nepal to bat first. Nepal was dismissed for 50 runs on 19.2 overs losing all its wickets. Only three batters were able to reach double-digit scores with captain Rubina Chhetri Belbashi, Sonu Khadka and Indu Verma scoring 13, 12 ...
