Nepal, Feb. 11 -- Nepal has slipped two places in the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), falling from 107th to 109th position, after failing to implement effective anti-corruption measures.

According to the Corruption Perceptions Index 2025 report released by Transparency International Nepal (TIN) on Tuesday, Nepal scored 34 out of 100, unchanged from the previous year. However, the country dropped two places among 180 countries as several others improved their performance.

TIN said the Nepal report was prepared based on the country's corruption situation prior to the Gen Z movement. Of the six indicators used, Nepal improved in one, deteriorated in two, and remained unchanged in three.
