Nepal, Aug. 28 -- Nepal's Consul-General for Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR), Dr Bindeswar Prasad Lekhak, met Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in Hong Kong, Cui Jianchun, at his office on Tuesday.

The meeting marked the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Nepal and China. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Lekhak reiterated Nepal's commitment to the One China principle and underlined the country's deep-rooted friendship with China, describing it as a close neighbour and trusted development partner.
