Nepal, July 2 -- The Nepali Women's National Football Team registered a thumping 8-0 victory over Sri Lanka in their second match of the AFC Women's Asian Cup Qualifiers. Captain Sabitra Bhandari 'Samba' completed the hat-trick in the match in Uzbekistan, while four other players scored goals.

Nepal took the lead through Geeta Rana's goal. Captain Sabitra Bhandari doubled Nepal's lead in the 20th minute.

Samba scored her second goal of the match in the 41st minute and then added another goal to complete her hat-trick in the first half. Nepal led 4-0 by the end of the first half.
