Nepal, April 30 -- Foreign aid commitments to Nepal have increased significantly in the first eight months of the current Fiscal Year (FY) 2024/25.

According to the Ministry of Finance (MoF), Nepal received foreign aid commitments totaling Rs 221.99 billion during the period from mid-August to mid-March in the FY 2024/25. This amount is more than double compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year, during which Nepal had received commitments worth Rs 101.19 billion.
