Nepal, April 9 -- Nepal and India signed a fresh Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote cooperation between the two countries in numerous areas covering agricultural science and technology, including agricultural production, crop production, and agricultural trade and marketing. The agreement replaces a memorandum of understanding between the two countries in December 1991.
The new agreement was signed by Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Ramnath Adhikari and India's Minister for Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Kathmandu.
