KATHMANDU, Feb. 13 -- Nepal and India have agreed to finalize the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the Pancheshwar Multipurpose Project at the earliest. The agreement was reached during a meeting between Nepal's Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, Deepak Khadka, and his Indian counterpart C.R. Patil. According to Khadka's private secretariat, India has expressed a positive stance toward expediting the construction works of the project.
