Nepal, May 22 -- The trend of Nepali returnees bringing gold and silver jewelry from abroad has experienced a noticeable rise. In the ten months of the current Fiscal Year (FY) 2024/25, Nepali returnees have brought jewelry worth over Rs 5 billion.
The trend of bringing gold jewelry from abroad has increased due to a reduction in prices, with gold items now being up to Rs 30,000 cheaper per tola.
