Nepal, Dec. 16 -- Issuing an urgent notice on Tuesday, the embassy stated that sending remittances through informal channels or failing to remit earnings to Nepal through official means is illegal. In line with the Government of Nepal's policy, all remittances sent from abroad must be transferred only through authorized and formal financial institutions, the notice said.
