Nepal, May 2 -- The total assets of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) have reached Rs 644 billion as per a white paper released by Managing Director Hitendra Dev Shakya on Friday.
Presenting the financial status of the NEA, Shakya stated that as of the end of the fiscal year 2023/24 (mid-July 2024), NEA's total assets amounted to Rs 644 billion.

Out of this, fixed assets stand at Rs 235 billion. Shakya also mentioned that projects worth Rs 220 billion are currently under construction. "These will be converted into assets upon completion. It is important to expedite these projects to begin reaping returns," he said.
