KATHMANDU, Jan. 14 -- National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) has opened vacancies for engineers and sub-engineer.

46 technicians will be hired for the repair and reconstruction of structures damaged by the earthquake that occurred in Doti on November 9.

According to the notification issued by the NDRRMA on Saturday, 16 engineers will be recruited in civil, general, building and architect and highway sectors. Similarly, 30 sub-engineers of the same subject will be hired.

The NDRRMA has asked for engineers and sub-engineers on a three-month contract to work in Doti, Achham and Bajhang. The notice mentions that priority will be given to the residents of the affected areas.
