KATHMANDU, July 4 -- The Standing Committee meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) which was scheduled for Saturday has been postponed.

According to Surya Thapa, press advisor to Prime Minister KP Oli, the meeting has been postponed for Monday [July 6].

It has been learnt that the meeting has been postponed as the party's chairpersons duo PM KP Shamra Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal are busy holding internal consultations amid intense rift in the party.
