Nepal, Jan. 23 -- Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal have instructed party leader Haribol Gajurel to withdraw his candidacy from Singhuli constituency-2.

Tha party has nominated Lekhnath Dahal against which agitated leader Maheshwor Dahal had filed his candidacy as independent from the same area. It is said that Dahal filed his candidacy with support from senior NCP leader Haribol.

Issuing a statement from the party headquarters on Tuesday, the NCP leadership said Gajurel has been directed to play a role to facilitate in withdrawing unauthorized candidacy.
