Ncell, Marie Stopes International Nepal, and DFAT join forces to combat cervical cancer in Nepal
KATHMANDU, March 9 -- Ncell, a mobile service provider in Nepal, along with Marie Stopes International Nepal (MSIN) and the Australian Government's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), have launched a nationwide awareness campaign aimed at tackling cervical cancer in Nepal.
Named the Cervical Cancer Screening and Preventive Therapy (CCSPT) awareness campaign, this joint effort anticipates making a significant impact by spreading crucial information about cervical cancer prevention through screening and vaccination across the country. Targeting women and girls aged 9 to 49, the campaign will kick off in March 2024 and will encompass a range of activities.
