Nepal, Feb. 6 -- Nepali Congress (NC) has ruled out forming any electoral alliances ahead of the upcoming March 5 House of Representatives (HoR) election, stating that the party will contest independently in all constituencies.

Speaking at a press conference at the party headquarters in Sanepa, party spokesperson Devaraj Chalise said the decision had already been made public by the party leadership, and there should be no confusion regarding possible partnerships.

"There will be no alliances before the election. All constituencies already have Congress candidates, and we are campaigning vigorously," Chalise said. "The party president has publicly confirmed this, and I urge everyone not to be misled by speculation."
