Dang, Dec. 18 -- Nepali Congress leader Amar Singh Pun from Lumbini Province has suggested the party's top brass select the NC's parliamentary party leader from groups other than the establishment faction.

After meeting Congress Vice President Dhanraj Gurung, Pun suggested that the establishment faction should proceed by selecting a common candidate from other groups.

"In order to strengthen the organization of the Congress, the leader of the parliamentary party NC should be selected from other groups in the establishment," Pun told Vice President Gurung.
