Nepal, July 25 -- A total of 21 lawmakers from the Nepali Congress (NC) in Bagmati Province have registered a no-confidence motion to remove Bahadur Singh Lama from his post as Parliamentary Party (PP) leader, which would also lead to his ousting as Chief Minister.
According to a lawmaker, the no-confidence motion-led by Indra Baniya-was filed along with the signatures of 21 Provincial Assembly members. The motion seeks Lama's removal both from the party leadership and the Chief Minister's position.
