KATHMANDU, Nov. 30 -- Senior business journalist Balkrishna Gnawali bagged the SEJON Award of this year. Gyawali has been working as a chief correspondent in Nagarik Daily of Nepal Republic Media.

The Society of Economic Journalists Nepal (SEJON) honored Gyawali for his contribution in bringing forth the contemporary issues related to the business and economic sector in the print media. Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel handed over the award that carries a purse of Rs 50,000 and a certificate of appreciation to Gnawali amid a program held in Kathmandu on Monday to mark its 23rd Annual Day.
