KATHMANDU, Feb. 20 -- Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali has reiterated the government's stance on the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Compact.

The minister made the remarks upon his arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday after paying an official visit to Bangladesh.

However, he said that the government will receive the suggestions from the committee formed to study the impacts of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Gyawali said that the committee will not make any decision whether to pass MCC or not. "The committee will give some suggestions to the government on MCC. It is up to the government whether to accept the US grant or not."
