Nepal, Dec. 27 -- Acting Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari has said that the Election Code of Conduct will be enforced soon in view of the election scheduled for March 5.

Stating that the code of conduct is essential to ensure a fair, free and fear-free election environment, he said it would be binding on all stakeholders to keep them within the limits of election rules.

Bhandari clarified that the code of conduct for this election will be implemented more strictly than in previous elections. According to him, the EC is currently collecting suggestions from various stakeholders regarding the code.
