Nepal, June 11 -- CPN (Maoist Centre) Deputy General Secretary and lawmaker Barshaman Pun has said that the visit visa scandal must be resolved before discussions on the national budget can take place.

Speaking to journalists in New Baneshwar on Wednesday, Pun said, "The parliament must function, and it's the government's responsibility to ensure that. We allowed the budget to be presented, but there must be a discussion. Before that, the government needs to address the visit visa issue."
