Nepal, May 21 -- Police have arrested a 32-year-old man accused of defrauding three individuals of Rs 2.68 million by falsely promising to send them to South Korea for employment.

The suspect, Ramesh Kumar Yadav, originally from Inaruwa Municipality-7 in Sunsari and currently residing in Pepsi-Cola, Kageshwari Manohara Municipality-16, was taken into custody on Tuesday from the Pepsi-Cola area in Kathmandu.

According to police, Yadav allegedly collected money from the victims under the pretense of arranging foreign employment and then severed contact with them.
