Malla's first T-20 century leads Nepal to 236 against Bhutan
KATHMANDU, Dec. 5 -- Nepal national men's cricket team has posted a huge target of 237 runs losing three wickets against Bhutan at the 13th South Asian Games.
Skipper Gyanendra Malla scored 107 runs off 55 balls to guide the team to a big total. Malla hit 9 maximums and 4 boundaries. With this, he has become the second Nepali cricketer as well as the captain to have scored century in T-20 cricket after Paras Khadka.
Similarly, former captain Paras Khadka who hit 57 off 28 runs. Similarly, vice-captain Dipendra Singh Airee and Aarif Sheikh remained not out with 45 and 4 runs respectively. Rohit Poudel scored only 6 runs.
Bhutanese bowler Karma Dorji took Nepali wickets while Tobden Singye sent one batsman to the pavillion.
