Nepal, Sept. 19 -- The Madheshi Commission has stressed the need to integrate moral education into Nepal's school curricula, arguing that it is essential for fostering social harmony and positive transformation.

Submitting its annual report to President Ram Chandra Paudel on Friday, the Commission highlighted a campaign it launched under the theme "Madheshi Commission's Aspiration: A Moral Madhesh and an Empowered Moral Education Program." The initiative was carried out in Sunsari, Saptari, Dhanusha, and Bara districts of Koshi and Madhesh provinces, as well as Rupandehi, Nawalparasi, and Kapilvastu districts of Lumbini Province.
