Nepal, Sept. 16 -- Following the vandalism during the Gen Z protests on September 8 and 9, local residents have begun efforts to rebuild damaged police infrastructure.

In Koteshwor, the Kotdevi Vidyanagar Social Reform Committee coordinated the reconstruction of the Narephat Police Post, also donating a motorcycle to the station. Similarly, reconstruction work has started at the Basundhara Police Outpost to ensure security during the upcoming festival season. The work is being led by a team organized under young entrepreneur Deepak Bhatt.

The Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Station at Lainchaur has also been rebuilt with support from the Thamel Tourism Development Council and local businesses. According to the council's vice-chair, Sahade...
