Nepal, May 1 -- The country is currently experiencing the effects of westerly and local winds. In addition, there is a partial influence of moisture-laden winds entering from the Bay of Bengal, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM).
Due to this influence, the weather across the country on Thursday morning was partly to generally cloudy. Light rainfall occurred in one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces in the morning. Aarughat in Gorkha recorded 19 millimeters of rainfall in the past hour.
There was scattered rain in Kathmandu as well on Thursday morning.
