KATHMANDU, Feb. 11 -- Rastriya Janamorcha Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC has urged the government to inform the parliament about the steps being taken to secure the release of Nepali student Bipin Joshi, who remains in the captivity of the Palestinian group Hamas.

Speaking at the House of Representatives (HoR) on Tuesday, KC said that while unofficial reports suggest Joshi is alive, the government has yet to provide official confirmation. He questioned the government's efforts in securing Joshi's release.
