Nepal, Sept. 30 -- Lalitpur Police are set to release several individuals who were earlier arrested on charges of serious violations of peace and security, including arson and vandalism during the September 9 protest.

The District Police Range, Lalitpur, informed Nagarik News that 23 suspects currently held in its detention facility will be released into the custody of their families.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Hobindra Bogati stated that charges corresponding to the alleged offenses have already been filed, and investigations will continue within the legal time frame.
