KATHMANDU, April 5 -- Police have seized drugs from an ambulance with an Indian number plate in Bagmati Rural Municipality-3 in Lalitpur.
According to Superintendent of Police SP) Narhari Regmi at the District Police Range, Lalitpur, the ambulance (BR 05PA 0421), which was traveling from Makwanpur to Kathmandu via Kanti Lokpath, was found to be carrying drugs.
Regmi stated that during a routine check at Bhattedanda, 94,080 tramadol tablets were seized from the ambulance. He said that some individuals involved in the drug trafficking have been arrested.
