Nepal, May 16 -- Nepal Police Headquarters has closed the Kulekhani-Kalanki-Humane section of the Kathmandu-Hetauda road for 19 days starting today, Friday, to carry out repair work. Authorities have urged all drivers to use alternative routes during this period.

Nepal Police spokesperson and Senior Superintendent of Police Ramesh Thapa said the police took the decision to shut down the road in coordination with the local administration. He explained that they issued the public notice to help the public avoid inconvenience.
