KATHMANDU, June 14 -- Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has significantly expanded its 'One Ward, One Model Enterprise' program, intensifying efforts to promote entrepreneurship and skill development across its wards.

Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol informed that KMC has launched skill development training programs in eight additional wards-11, 19, 20, 23, 25, 28, 29, and 31-this year. Meanwhile, Wards 3, 4, and 22 are currently conducting skill enhancement training sessions.

Initially introduced last year in 15 of KMC's 32 wards, the program now covers 23 wards, with plans underway to implement it in the remaining areas soon.
